RVC Fort Collins Pitch Academy - February 2025 - The RVC Pitch Academy is a half-day workshop designed to do much more than just polish a founder’s pitch and presentation skills. From delivering a compelling presentation to negotiating a successful deal, this workshop will prepare founders to understand many of the terms and processes used by VCs and sharpen their venture strategy. This Pitch Academy is in partnership with the City of Fort Collins & the Larimer Small Business Development Center.

Boulder Open Coffee Club (BOCC) - This is an informal group for anyone interested in the startup community, particularly those with an interest in technology. We've been meeting regularly since 2007.
The group typically includes entrepreneurs, investors, designers, developers, product managers, and other interesting people. A typical session include 2/3 regulars and 1/3 newcomers - all are welcomed!

Beck Venture Center Startup Forum: Accounting Basics for Startups - Discovering Winning Value Propositions for Startups is designed to help early-stage entrepreneurs and startup teams craft compelling B2B value propositions by tackling important questions: Who is your target customer? What benefits and needs do you address? Which are the most important or most lucrative use cases? It also covers figuring out whose problem to solve, understanding customer segments and their outcomes, and navigating the decision-making process, including end users and key influencers. Attendees will explore practical ways to test ideas, validate problems, and assess how well their solutions resonate with real customers.

CU Boulder shines with record-breaking year for startups - Innovation at the University of Colorado Boulder reached an unprecedented milestone in fiscal year 2023-24 by launching 35 startup companies based on university innovations. This achievement shattered CU Boulder’s previous record of 20 startups in FY 2021 and placed it among the most prolific single-campus institutions in the country.
